Archive post just to keep my adoring public happy. Taken near Brockhampton in an enormous field of poppies. The background colour is simply out-of-focus poppies, no other trickery.

Scotland's Mountains

Just a brief post featuring another favourite pic, this time Buchaille Etive Mor which pretty much dominates the approach to Glencoe from Rannoch Moor. If you get the chance go and see it, it is high in Awesomeness (91% and climbing).

Gloucestershire by Night

Took this today from the top of Cleeve Hill. You can see the Brewery and Waitrose in Cheltenham, Gloucester Cathedral and out to the Forest of Dean (Mitcheldean maybe?)
Particularly pleased at how it came out as the lens used cost me £40 (It's a Sigma 70-300).
